Bright Futures Farm is an equine charity whose primary focus is off the track Thoroughbreds...horses that can no longer race due to disinterest or injury.  Our dedication has grown to include horses that are difficult to find homes for...older horses that are unwanted after their "useful years" are over, and older stallions that cannot be gelded due to the risk of complications.

We are always in need of foster homes.  When you foster a horse you help us save one more from harm.  Fostering expenses are tax-deductible.  If you have room, please ask us about our foster program.

SPONSOR A HORSE

Our sponsors provide much needed assistance to the horses we have here at  Bright Futures Farm.  You can sponsor a Permanent Resident, or you can sponsor a horse while he/she is rehabbing, or waiting for the right home.

Your sponsorship can be any amount and you can choose the horse you wish to sponsor.  You can send us a monthly contribution, quarterly or annual donation...whatever works best for you.  And, all donations are tax-deductible.

When you sponsor a Permanent Resident, you are helping us with the cost of supplements for our Seniors. They all receive a daily joint supplement, vitamin supplement (kelp) and whatever else is needed...several receive an herbal cough formula in the cold winter months, and two receive antioxidants.  All of the Seniors receive a probiotic and prebiotic regularly, and everyone is on a weekly herbal de-worming program.

Click here to see our Permanent Residents if you would like to choose the horse you sponsor.  A horse can have more than one sponsor.

Also, please remember to ask your company if they have a matching gift program. If they do, please forward us any paperwork that is required for us to participate.

Thank You to Our Sponsors, Our Friends
