Bright Futures Farm is an equine charity whose primary focus is off the track Thoroughbreds...horses that can no longer race due to disinterest or injury.  Our dedication has grown to include horses that are difficult to find homes for...older horses that are unwanted after their "useful years" are over, and older stallions that cannot be gelded due to the risk of complications.

We are always in need of foster homes.  When you foster a horse you help us save one more from harm.  Fostering expenses are tax-deductible.  If you have room, please ask us about our foster program.

Arabians

Sassa "Alina"

1989 grey Arabian mare.  Alina lived with her mother for 17 years until Danna passed on at age 32.  Alina didn't appear to know how to get along in a herd situation, and it took some time to find the right home for her.  She just found that home in April '09.  Halley too, lost her mother of many years.  For Halley, it was the same situation...she had lived with her mother and really, no other horse.  Alina met Halley and within just a few hours they were inseparable.

Alina has been placed with B. Farah and J. Olea of Pennsylvania

Bode Hafs C Man "Hafs"

Hafs has been placed with C. Sambol of Pennsylvania

Fancy

1991 Grey Arabian mare.  14.2 hands.

Fancy is a GREAT horse for a novice rider.  Schooled English and "finished", she's willing, easy to ride, and likes people...as you can see in all of her photos...she's a happy horse.  She enjoys working and she enjoys attention.  She can be ridden western also.  She gets along well with other horses.  If you're looking for a nice easy going horse for a novice rider, Fancy is that horse.

Fancy has been placed with L. Pfahl of PA
